Title: don't let this world hold you down

This is a new Down To Nothing shirt. This was sold on the string of dates they just did with Terror, gravemaker, foundation, backtrack and naysayer. It is a Uniform Choice inspired tee. I really like the color combination and good solid design. DTN just released a seven inch record titled "All my sons", and it fucking rips. My favorite song they have done is pipeline (song 5) on the new record. The lyrics cover being positive and not letting your problems drag you down, basically having a Positive Mental Attitude. You know the deal.

The DTN record release was on July 4th this summer and it was one of the beat days that I can remember. It started with hanging and swimming at the river and a BBQ, and then an amazing show in Richmond at the canal club.

Title: the plague.

Title: official.

Ok, this is a St. Louis Cardinals shirt. I think they cards are a pretty cool team, and when I was in StL last I got this shirt. It's a majestic brand shirt but in reality it's an allstyle apparel (AAA) brand.

The player is David Freese. He is a rookie 3rd basemen and on my fantasy team. It's critical to have player shirts of guys on your team. I came up on a Carlos Quentin shirt too so that's sweet too. I got Posey, I got Lincecum, I need Rios, schumaker, and votto. Why not, right?

Title: back, for how long?

Ok, this is a foundation spring 2010 tour shirt. Tour shirts are cool. They did a US tour with harms way, and backtrack. Pocket prints are timeless, and this one is funny when the normal people confuse it for a church shirt.

This is a san francisco giants Mitchell and ness authentic 1989 world
series home jersey. Worn with an on field authentic cap. These hats
were worn in 2008 and I love it. Retro nights are a blast.

Matt Williams played 3rd base for the giants and I grew up watching
him. I wore this jersey, Scace wore his Clark joint, my bro wore his
Clark joint, and my dad wore his Clark away jersey. We rolled in style
and got respect all over the yard. Roll with the team!

This is a San Francisco Giants authentic home jersey. Topped off with
a 2009 "stars and stripes" hat. These hats are worn on veterans day,
sept 11th and the fourth of July. Proceeds of this cap go towards
programs for veterans. That's important cause there needs to be more
to help acclimate these soldiers back into the normal world. I love
this hat cause fickle and real knowledgeable fans know what's up.

#20 is John bowler. Who is also playing for a spot on the Giants 25
man opening day roster but has a minor league option.

Today the giants faced the Los Angeles dodgers. And the giants won 3-2
on a walk off double/triple from a farm leaguer Ryan rohlinger. It was
a great day, and good game to kick off spring training in Phoenix
Arizona.

Scottsdale stadium.

Today I went into San Francisco to go shopping with my Mom. And I wore this player tee. When I went into Niketown, 3 employees came up to me and talked shop about the Celts and whats going on. Its great. I hope Nate Robinson sticks around for a while. The shirt fits great!

I got this at the Celtics pro shop at the stadium after they beat the Bobcats this last week. I cant say enough good things about Nate Robinson, the guard is 5'9" and has a sweet 3 point shot.

these are all of my MLB San Francisco Giants Authentic jerseys. Authentic jerseys are the same jerseys that the team wears on the field. The best stitching and fabric, and in my case, actually worn by the players. The ones on the far left are all-star jerseys. These are worn by the players during batting practice and the home run derby, etc... They are really cool cause its celebrating your players achievements and they kinda hard to get. Then the middle are the home jerseys and those are all player worn. Those are my favorite I think cause its just so cool. Then on the far right, those are the Mitchell & Ness throwback 1989 jerseys. WIll Clark and Matt Williams.

Today I went to a celtics vs bobcats game. Celtics won, Stephen
jackson and Paul pierce had some beef, it was cool. I also got a Nate

Title: say hey!

This is the sweatshirt that I run in. And today I had two great things
happen. 1st was i gave a "nod" to a guy wearing a giants cap near the
post office, and then an old man stopped me mid run and told me that
the giants were his team too! I replied with "hey same here were gonna
do big things!" he gave me the thumbs up and we went on our ways.

I love the enthusiasm this year, it's with me no matter what but this
year the total PMA has me bursting with it. Giants are gonna do good
things!!!

Title: MVP

Albert Pujols is the man. He plays first base for the St Louis
Cardinals. He is the face ofthat franchise. And to promote the release
of his signature colorway of the trainer 1 they made this shirt. There
is a #5 on the arm, his jersey number.

I wanted to get the "Troy knows" shirt but couldn't come around to it.

Pujols is on a contract year (his current contract ends at the end of
this year) and it will be interesting to see what happens. The cards
just gave Matt Holliday a big contract this offseason, well see how

ok, this is an Eddie House tee shirt made by the good folks who sell shirts outside of the Celtics games, the TRUE OG dogs, not that new bullshit coming down there. The good folks at "Sullys InK" coming hard on this one. Eddie House is the man, he WAS my Celtic of the year. Good solid bench player, and a key point guard to sub in and put in some work and throw up ok numbers. He was traded to the New York Knicks for Nate Robinson and Marcus Landry. It broke my heart at first, but you gotta recognize that Nate Robinson is SWEET. I hate when Celtic fans "jest" about his height, FUCK YOU. come see me. I really do hope the Celtics can resign Nate and keep him around.

OK, Lebron James put on a show, more than a few times last night. There was one point I figured 'Bron was just gonna hang at half court and sit out a play, the next second I know... he is jumping on and going for a HUGE dunk. I also saw him miss one too. Its cool to see how much people give him attention. There were more people watching and taking pics down at the Cavs practice than the Celtics. The first layups or dunks he did during practice there were flashes everywhere.

I cannot say enough good things about the documentary "More than a Game" I love talking about it with friends and all its great. Such a great story.

Title: gametime.

Here we go, today is my first time seeing Lebron James play
basketball. I am very excited to see what happens here. Boston Celtics
vs Cleveland Cavaliers. In Boston. I got a ticket by myself cause I
just wanna go, and tickets are kinda pricy. Oh well sometimes you
gotta fly solo.

I love this celtics hat, this Nike windbreaker is sweet, and my "we
beat LA" shirt is THE best. I feel great, and I'm ready to see a
fuckin game.

To me, Lebron is on the same level as Michael Jordan. So this is a big
deal. Espeially in modern day sports.

Title: report from ft reaper.

This is a ft reaper records track jacket. These were a Christmas gift
around x-mas to reaper bands. I think they look pretty good and they
fit great. Track jackets are cool, would be sweet to see a band try
and make one?

Reaper records has a dog now, she is called chelsea and she is still a

More than a game.

I forget it I already talked about the newly released DVD "more than a
game". It's about the Akron fab 4/5 who played competetive and
nationally ranked basketball from grade school into high school.
Lebron James was a part of the team and it's a really good
documentary. The whole fame thing for lebron in high school is a trip.
This is a lebron James high school jersey. Nike made these a bit ago
and they are pretty sweet. St Vincent St Marys Fightin' Irish is the
team. If you are into: sports and all things of a good story I
reccommend you check out more than a game.

Title: NSA

This is a Naysayer 2010 winter tour. This tour went from January 1st
to Jan 17th (I think). Tour dates on the back, but I'm too lazy to
look. All in all this shirt is cool and It didn't shrink up too much.
I like pocked prints and tour shirts.

Naysayer released a 7inch last year on reaper records called no
remorse. It's pretty sweet. I highly reccommend it.

The Richmond Flying Squirrels. The San Franciso Giants pride of their
farm team. Last season they were the Connecticut defenders, now they
moved to Richmond,VA. The Giants farm system was rated #1 overall in
record performance. And this year will be no different. The giants
farm organization will be meeting in Scottsdale in mid march for
evaluation and placement, cannot wait to see who makes the list. They
have a draft pick from last year by the name "wheeler" and the kid is
supposed to be real talented. If angel villalona weren't in trouble
with the cops, he would most likely make the Squirrels team.

Title: happy v-day.

This is the back print of my Floorpunch hoodie. I got this sweatshirt
at the last USA show at the church in Edison, NJ. This gig was a
ripper. Too many sweet bands to name. All in all I left that show
tired and exhausted.

This sweatshirt fits pretty good for an XL and I really like the blue,
yellow and white colorway. Also such a sweet smorgashboars rip off.

Being on a bus in the USA:
Fucking crazy and real weird. Sometimes I'll wake up and well be at a

Today Tim Lincecum avoided arbitration by sigining a 2 year $25
million contract including signing bonus. So this is $9 mil the 1st
year and $14 the 2nd year buying him out of 2 of his 4 remaining
arbitration years.

This is good for both sides cause Timmy will have the chance to
develop even more and terrorize the NL and the. Barry zito's contract
will expire and the giants can cater to timmys every need. tHE

Title: this is not a Michael vick shirt.

Here we have a bitter end camo colorway shirt. This bitter end design
was brought out on summer tours and now were into the unique
colorways. I think this design is sweet, and I really like the fit of
this shirt.

Bitter end has a new LP coming out on deathwish Inc this year called
"guilty as charged" and it's going to be fucking sweet. Climate of
fear is one of my favorite records of the 00's and I can't wait to see
this band again.

Title: keepers of the faith.

This is a Terror keepers of the faith navy blue windbreaker. This is
currently being sold on the winter 2010 North American tour. And is
keeping wind broken for me. The idea in mind was something practical,
simple and classic. The navy/white combination is always real sharp.
And the collegiate style font is a direct reference to all the bands
we know and love. The collar and snap buttons is also something of
old, and it's cool to see people really happy to pick one of these up.
I know I love getting new merch!

1. What's your current pick for fast food?

Always Chick Fil A. It was in our local mall growing up, my boy Daniel Spector would always get it. He turned me on to it in middle school. Been addicted ever since. Honorable mention goes to Taco Bell. Their new 89 cents 5 Layer Burrito is delicious.

2. Sleep in too hot or too cold?

Too cold! I can't sleep if it's hot. I like having lots of blankets over me, AC and fans blasting, windows open if it's cold outside. I like being hot outside of sleepy time though. Summer days are best, cold bedrooms are great.

3. Favorite agents of man song, and why?

"No Tomorrow" off the full length. It starts off melodic, drops to a groove, picks back up, catchiest chorus. So many tempo changes, and so many different vocal ranges. The song makes me think back to Terror's summer Euro tour last year. Jared had the bunk next to me, all my homies were in the back of the bus with me, I was so siked to be on tour but also missed some people back home a lot too. I listened to Agents of Man every night and every morning the first month of that tour.

Another Agents of Man song I rock a lot is "Consequence." I like to imagine I'm the singer of the band while listening to that one.

4. What can you tell people about the new down to nothing 7inch they might not know?

Hmm, well it's 6 brand new songs on Reaper Records. I think it's the heaviest DTN stuff we've ever done. I think it's the best stuff we've ever done too, musically and lyrically. Getting older in the scene has made bitter about a lot of things, so there's some angry songs on there. At the same time, I have also grown up and learned a lot, so there's some real positive shit in there too. Not to mention, the best straight edge song to date by us called, Undefeated. ;)

I was stuck in Montana at a hotel cause the bus broke down. There was
nothin to so but we met a girl who drove us to k-mart. At the k-mart I
was lookin for something regionally cool. Ended up getting a mossy oak
brand shirt. Mossy oak is the style of camo in which actual leaf
design is used. Cruel hand uses mossy oak for their elk shirt. This
shirt is pretty cool, I support mossy oak and regional shirts.

This is a Seattle mariners player tee of the famous Ken Griffey jr. He
is the man, and sweet as hell. This is a freshwater colored item. Good
colorway and... Little fact: the player tee with the emblem on the arm
is ONLY sold at official mariners stores around the city and at the
store. So HoLLA!

The Mariners made HUGE moves in this offseason. Got cliff lee, chone
figgins, Milton Bradley, Ryan garko, Eric Byrnes, long term deal with
Felix hernandez and I know I'm missing at least 3-4 more great moves.
I am really excited for them I hope they can take down the angels.

Seattle is a really cool place. I think it would be cool to live there
someday. Strong weather and sights!

You best believe I hit the pit for intro/changes at the latest FP show
in jersey a few weeks ago. I felt like a kid again and bought this, a

It's really fucking cool and it's a 6 song seven inch. I had the
privlidge to be able to hear it more than once... Pipeline could be my

This is a Trapped Under Ice band t-shirt tank top. This design has Reaper Records under the band name, and nothing on the back. This tank top was sold in Australia on their most recent tour there, and the extras were brought back to the states on sold on the "stay warm 2010" winter tour. The tour hit such destinations in the east coast as: Syracuse, ATL, Florida, Richmond, STong Island, and various other spots. I had a lot of fun on this tour, and a lot of people came out to these shows. The dates were with Forfeit, Naysayer, Cruel Hand and Down 2 Nothing played 4 of them. What an amazing way to start a year out.

Truth is heavy, weighs a ton.

Here we are, I am currently on the terror/emmure bus. I am watching
espn football countdown and listening to the new bane 7"s during

Title: on the bus.

Currently day -1 of the mosh lives 2 tour featuring terror and various
other acts. Hanging on the bus right now driving to get merch and kick
this off. First 3 days are in Canada and then we jump back to the USA
for 4+ weeks. Things are looking good, 2010 hardcore lives. Cannot
wait to hang with my bros. Being on a bus in the winter and not having
to worry about ice in a van is amazing. Shout outs to the northwest
that's gonna be a ripper as usual. Tons of Texas dates too.

Creative outlet.

Fuckin' a. I've done this maybe 15-17 times, which is leave Boston for
tour. I miss talking shop on tour and shirts. This is a good thing to
exercise my writing, gotta stay sharp and keep in touch with friends.

This is my backpack and cruel hand trucker camo. Packed to the brim
with my notre dame snuggie and tour supplies, listening to bane, I
feel like I'm 19 years old again. I'm almost 25 and through touring
ive learned more about myself and the world than I ever could have
imagined. Firing this blog up again. Though I walk alone, I am never
on my own.

Title: brightside.

So i watched the blind side on opening night. It was the same night of
the twilight opening. Out of the 12 rooms at the commons theatre 11
were showing twilight and 1 was showing the blind side. Rasheed
Wallace got turned away at the box office. My movie consisted of just
run off shitheads who were turned away from twilight. It was annoying
for them to talk during the movie, girls don't "get" football, just
joking! Twilight fans don't get football.

Good film would see again, def delivered!! Good college football
cameos, ok montauges, and good high school ball. Good true story.

And I worethis cause michael wore tons of rugby style shirts, it got
rubbed off on me a little, draft me!

2012 is the worst movie I can remember in a long time. I sit here in the theater as I write this. How the fuck can a movie be so dumb. How can you sink so much money into such a joke. Don't waste your time or money on this . I've been trying to get kitzel to leave the theater for over an hour but he said let's watch it like its a comedy. That was funny but didn't stop the pain. Check the trailors for shutter island and the lovely bones. Those movies look great. Morgan freeman is cool. Shawshank redemption is my favorite movie ever. Cape fear, seven. Pulp fiction and hoosiers are great to. So is the princess bride, kingpin, he got game, Bronx tale and meet the parents. Check those out if your bored. Good times.

You cannot go wrong with a whitey tee, I don't care about the "rule" no white past labor day. A whitey tee never goes out of fashion or style year round. This is a Champion brand whitey tee, I got this on the cheap at one of my weekly stops. This thing fits great, and its thick. What more can I say about a whitey tee other than its sharp.

Title: fly your flag.

This is my California flag. I wear this on trips and all things
outside of the state of California, found this at a souvineer store in
san francisco for 3 bucks and it's a triple A brand tee. I think the
flag looks great and you can never forget where your from. Good earthy
green base for the shirt.

This flag stands for strength. One star for a united state. And a bear

Ok, this is fucking killing me... First of all this is a pretty good show. I always thought Jason Schwartzman was a no talent ass clown, but this is changing me. I wasnt sold on him in Rushmore, Bill Murray stole the fucking show.

Ok back to being killed... The haircuts that Jason Schwartzman and Zach Galifianakis have in the first 2 episodes, absolute DOGSHIT. I dont know shit about men's haircuts but they look like early 20 year olds who just got out of college, or are just about to graduate. They dont look 30, and it doesn't sell me. Then episode 3 comes around, and they both have more professional haircuts, even tho Zach Galifianakis is a cartoonist, he comes with a better cut. THEN we got to episode 4 and Jason Schwartzman's hair is the same old bullshit, then back to episode 5 they go back to a better haircut.

I might be crazy, but I also pay attention to detail.

good show, enjoy watching it develop! Ted Danson is the icing on this cake. He does an amazing job playing the aging New Yorker clawing to hang onto his youth, or someone else's... Good head of hair, and really cool seeing him play a more serious role after see him crush it in Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Lebron James is the fucking MAN. Hate him or LOVE him, you have to recognize his sheer talent, competitiveness, and athleticism... The Sports Illustrated entire issue about the improvements Lebron made in the last year was WILD. The whole Lasik eye surgery and that he started seriously lifting weights, and just everything he did was pretty cool to read.

Will Shaq go big for the Cavs? Does he have enough gas left in the tank?

So this shirt is a celebration of Lebron winning last year's MVP award. I wanted this thing when I first saw it thru Ken SInglar. I never got it tho cause I slept on good opps and finally came up about 18 bucks shipping included thru ebay.

title: Banner 17.

This shirt was sold right after the Boston Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers in the 07-08 NBA Finals. I was selling shirts outside of the championship game where they were beating the Lakers by 40 or something disgusting, it was really fucking crazy. People were rioting in the streets and it wasnt too crazy, there have been crazier Patriot riots, even Red Sox riots but it was still pretty crazy. I was selling out of a backpack and then I was out of shirts, and THEN someone knocked over a stop sign, when that happened these HUGE bricks came out of the sidewalk, and were being thrown like baseball into the air. It was really weird to see a brick in the streetlight sky cause it looked so small, then it would hit someone in the face/head and there would be blood everywhere. It was a fucking mess.

I got this shirt for 4 bucks at AJ Wright a few weeks ago, it was sold at the Celtics Parade and all over the place for a while, pretty cool to get one of these for that cheap cause they were prob 20 bucks, maybe even 25-30... TIMELESS

Title: hockey night.

Today I went to the bruins and penguins game at the new garden in
Boston, ma. Went with my dogg Hudon and my friend Carrie. The game was
great and we were in the very last row and it was great! Beef in the
section between fans and a really fun game to watch. Bruins came out
on top 3-0 with good play development and consistent shots on goal,
the pens had to play catch up in the 3rd period. This is my LOC
family hoodie that was sold on the Mental last USA tour which a road
dogg'd it with haroun and Ill will. Good time. Also my lucic crew tee
cause that's how we do.

Title: one of none.

This is a one off have heart crew shirt. I made this with my friend
Ryan while printing the shirts for the last show. Have heart played

This is a Naysayer tee shirt. I got this a few days ago when I saw Naysayer, Backtrack, and Fire 'n Ice in Mendon, MA. This show was pretty cool, nice little local gig. Mendon is south of Worcester and north of Rhode Island so its kind of it its own place. The show was super fun and it reminded me why weekend tours are so much fun, and its great to see friends.

Naysayer put out a 7inch on Reaper Records this year and its fucking awesome. Straight up hardcore. I really have gotten to enjoy Naysayer on record, so it was really fun to finally see them. How I havent seen them yet is beyond me...

This shirt is also a big plus cause its a live pic on the front of the shirt. You dont get to see that enough. It looks like an Agnostic Front shirt so thats even better. All in all I am glad I bought this item.

I remember seeing this movie when I was younger and thinking it was really cool. So this last week I watched it again now that im older and I have a better feel for movies now, I decided to give it a go... Great movie. I really enjoy the timeline of the movie and good cop/bad cop stuff with Crowe and Pierce. All in all it doesnt disappoint and with the special effects available in 1997 it makes for a good watch both visually and cinematically. I recommend this movie to anybody who enjoys a good shotgun chase scene.

This is a Freddy Sanchez San Francisco Giants player tee shirt. I am a huge sucker for player tee's and I truly enjoy them in all ways. I am a fan of F Sanchez and I am glad we aquired him at the trade deadline. I am kinda bummed we had to trade top prospect Tim Alderson, but that comes with getting a good infielder. When Sanchez comes back to the lineup after being on the 15-day disabled list, it will either be tomorrow or Monday (sun vs brewers & mon vs pads) and he will take back 2nd base. Sandoval will move over to 1st, Renteria will stay at shortstop, and hot hitting Uribe will go to 3rd. Regular 1st baseman Ishikawa and Garko will go to pinch hitters deep in games. Both have respective batting averages home and/or away from at&t.

I hope to see more of Freddy down the line and I hope we can field a team of beasts in the next few... I am hoping the giants go after MATT HOLLIDAY for this year's free agents.

Title: gone but not forgotten.

Ok, its been a while. It's hard to find time when you do nothing.

Ok, lets get into this... Mitchell and Ness brings us this retro jersey from the 1989 World Series featuring the San Francisco Giants and the Oakland Athletics. This is an authentic throwback from the best guys in the biz... This thing is made with the same fabrics, dimensions, and patchwork. The black strip on the arm is in memory of the commissioner who passed away that year. The World Series patch is beautiful and the stripes at the end of the jersey really are a treat. To be honest, I am more a fan of this lettering than the current home game font. But... it take either. This is a size 52, which is an XXL, after wearing 48 i tried on a 52 and it fit PERFECTLY.

So im in the dugout store trying this thing on, and my dad spots Mike Krukow, giants tv commentator, and he is shopping at the stadium store with his wife. I am trying this jersey on and Mike walks over and says something around the way of, "oh boy, look at that gem, fits perfectly! you leave that thing on any longer and the giants might try and sign you..." and gives me a man's pat on the back. It was awesome, after that, I had to pull the trigger and scoop this bad boy up.

Matt Williams is the man. I loved being a pup and watching him take swings at Candlestick. All good things come to an end, so he had to go in the Kent trade, but thats something you gotta take with the business side of the sport.

title: welcome back JR

This is my Ken Griffey JR shirt. I got this when i was in seattle last at a mariner's pro shop in downtown seattle. Its pretty sweet. They had one of these and then a throwback one with the old logo and colorway. I decided to go with this one cause my friend Kent S. had one of the other ones and it shrunk real weird. This one shrunk up length wise but its still worth wearing, just needs the right undershirt to compliment it.

Today the Giants play the Diamondbacks at home in SF and hope to redeem themselves from losing 3 out of 4 to the rockies in denver. The red sox look to demolish the white sox and take down a sweep and knock the white sox back in their race to catch the tigers for the al central race. the rockies face the dodgers and we could have a new leader in the NL west standings?

all in all baseball is crazy right now, the giants/rox series in denver had a post season feel to it.

REQUEST: i am looking for a peavy 44, rios 51, and a danks 50 white sox player tee's from a chi sox pro shop. the ones online have a shitty frontside and the ones sold at the stores in chicago are the best ones. IF ANYBODY IN THE CHICAGO AREA wants to help me out, i can get you money to send me some. i really like these players and i am collecting player tee's.

Title: Reaper Records presents...

This is my Reaper Records tank top straight edge shirt. This was made this spring of 2009 and sold at the United Blood fest 2009. I got this from PK in April in a care package of stuff to rep on tour. This has been worn a lot as an undershirt because I enjoy the comfort that a tank top brings me when it is used as an undershirt. Reaper Records always brings the goods and always comes strong.

Summer time in Boston is truly awesome. The Foot Locker outlet in Dudley Square is poppin', Newbury street is jumping with people, and Chachos Pizza never tasted better with the AC drip on the front entrance.

Title: rasheeeeeeeeeeeed wallace!

What can be said about this... This NBA off-season Rasheed Wallace signed a 3 year deal with the Boston Celtics. I think its pretty cool. He is one the best players in the NBA today, and he is a fucking character. He is good friends with Kevin Garnett and if I remember correctly, they talk on a weekly basis during the year. The only time they dont talk is when their teams are playing together. Haha, kinda funny now cause they play on the same team, i hope the channels of communication are open there... He has a really good/solid career behind him so far. Also, he was involved in the Pistons/Pacers fight in 2004, but he was a peacemaker during the brawl between players and fans.

I got this shirt at the "Fleet Center" and also got an Eddie House tee, went big cause they had triple A shirts with Adidas labels on them, I am glad to have this in my corner come this fall/winter

Title: took a vacation

So I went to the Triple B Records hq and left with this shirt looking like this. Free Spirit is a hardcore band from Boston and they play hardcore music in the vein of Straight Ahead. This band is pretty cool, never seen them live before but I did catch lunch with Jack D (grillo's pickles tee) today and talked about cool shit and moving. it was a good lunch meeting and then walked around boston all day. getting ready to move sucks ass, but it has to be done. renting a uhaul is gonna suck too. oh well its for the better.

I think Free Spirit is gonna release a record soon, maybe a 7inch, they gotta write it first. They are playing a gig in Boston friday, might have to check that out if my Yankee / Red Sox plans fall thru.

TITLE: i dont want to be in a band anymore...

This is a Have Heart tour shirt. This was picked up at the Maine Cruel hand, shipwreck and have heart show last night in portland maine. van troubles made the show go late, but it was a good time. This shirt is a descendants rip off if you dont know anything, and its pretty funny. Have heart looked super sweet last night and it was great to see them play again. Pat looked possibly the best I have seen them to date. Their last USA/ Canada tour has begun and go check them out one last time. Glad to have been there for so many of their shows and it really was fun to tour with them and live with some of those dudes. life goes on, and nothing lasts forever, but thanks to those dudes for all the fun and generosity.

INTERVIEW with Aaron Bane

Aaron B-Dard Interview!

Aaron sings for a band called Bane, which hails out of the greater
Worcester/Boston area. When I was a young adult and moved to Boston in
2004, I would see Aaron at 8 Carmel or 36 Cherokee on the hill. He was
always warm and welcome to me before we were friends, and that went a
very long way cause moving from Cali to Boston is a big change. Dude
turned me onto Chachos pizza, and I always bite his snack style
whenever I saw him 'puting. Saw my first curb your enthusiasm while
packing lockin out mailorder with him, and did my 2nd full tour with
verse while bane headlined. "that's the kind of tour your a part of,
and you just get hooked on the touring lifestyle.." 4 years later and
we just did a tour with Bane and we picked up where we left off.

Thanks for the interview Aaron, and thanks for spending your Christmas
and Christmas eve with me watching sports in Boston. Shouts to apps
for coming thru on those 2 days too!

1. Favorite snack / snack combination while playing online poker?

snack combo changes..right now I am playing cards and dipping kettle
potatoe chips into red pepper hummus
thats a little bit healthier than I usually go..normally you'll find
something cheese based.. queso dip or jalapeno cheese and wheat thins,
maybe a big bowl of rice, beans and shredded mexican cheese..dip a
whole bag of tortilla chips into that
But if i had to pick a favorite i'd go with chochlate grahm cracker
cookies..cuz it makes me think of my man Jack Daniels and smile

2. Please talk about 3 of your favorite cities to play and hang out in
north America and why?
New York City for obvious reasons real good friends down there..
hottest chicks roaming the streets..great pizza and the shows are
pretty much always off the hook

San Fran is always cool..we have a lot of friends who have ended up
there from different places around the country so rolling through you
always know there will be some good hang sessions with good
peeps ..cant really hate on the Lusty Lady either

I always like goin back to Baltimore.. i lived there for a few
years..and have a lot of good friends down there who always come out,
good memories in that city..always psyched to roll back through there

3. Favorite meal at sunset? (a restaurant/bar in Boston with great
food and drink selection)
full order buenos cheese nachos no sour cream salsa on the side extra
cheese keep the rasberry ice-t's coming

4. How was sharing a van with cruel hand?
Seemed like the late night hang outs could never stop in that van.
Yeah it really was pretty much nonstop foolishness..they are by far
our favorite dudes to roll with and I will happily trade comfort and a
little extra leg room to be cooped up in a van together with them,
bouncing off the walls and LOLing constantly..I'm hating that its
looking like we're gonna go all of '09 without doing a single run with
them..that shits gotta change next year

5. Current favorite song to play live, why?
well we have a bunch of new songs we're playing live right now..so
thats prety exciting
i guess if i had to pick a fave it would be One Live to Live..cuz its
short and pissed and I get to sing about Minor Threat in it

Title: count me out

This is the back of the current bane longsleeve sold at gigs and tour
dates. The front has the classic bane logo with "holding this moment"
on the back of it. Bane is fucking awesome. People either love or hate
them for some dumb reason. The age old "everyone likes them" so I
don't... Never got that one. The only person that can ruin something
for me, is me!

I love bane. Senior year of high school I quoted "every effort made"
for a paper for my final in one class. I came ip in the core at a
great time. I remember picking up give blood October 2001 and dreaming
about touring and what cool feeling that must be.

Title: the hyra.

This is me and my friend brad repping born from pain cut ups brought
to this world by dwood. I was waiting for this day to come and it's
cool. The print on my shirt is so big that it looks crazy cut ip cause
the print is so big. Great complementary tee to my ND Irish navy tee.

Giants beat the dodgers in extra innings.

Title: when it rains it pours

This is a cruel hand shirt. On the back it says chhc with 09 under it
like a name/jersey # combo. Pretty sweet to have 2 colors on it and
it's a madball inspired design.

Cruel hand is about to embark on a north American tour with bitter end
and have heart. This should be really cool so make sure to see it a
few times.

On a side note: if you ever want a cut up core tee done right, take
advice from DWood, he can cut off the sleeves and nEck to make a great
fit. And the good thing about doing this is that they make for great
undershirts. Go cut up a shirt and practice and makes perfect.

Good tee to wear in Canada.

Title: now there was a time...

Tour update:
Some days everything clicks, and everthing feels good for the most
part. Yesterday was the Worcester show for the 10 for 10 hardcore
tour. Saw tons of friends I haven't seen in a hot min, hung tight with
Hrack at merch and saw some good gig sets. It was also bane's last
show of the tour and I will dearly miss seeing b-dard, zack, uncle
bob, dalbec and stu everyday. I hate goodbyes but I know I'll see them
again soon, too fun to pass up. I held down the pit during terror and
had a blast talking shop shirt wise with customers. I have a good desk
job.

Title: clawing.

This is my rise and fall 2009 tee shirt. Fits good. Solid design, and
sweet band. New record dropping this year on deathwish Inc. Should be
a banger. Starting to apprecite the khaki off white ink more and more.

Title: the shark.

I got this jeff samardzija Chicago cubs tee at a shop right outside
wrigley field when I was there about half a week ago. Happy about this
pick up cause now I have Chicago on lockdown. Swish and Griffey chi
sox tees.

This shirt can be complimented with a ND cap and that's the coolest
thing since sliced bread.

Title: via fort reaper.

Notre dame hat from lids. Just got them in today. Out my face Syracuse
fans giving me shit at the store.

World baseball classic. USA shirt from this last year. The pocket
print is super far over and looks weird but ok. Fits really good and
lasted the wash/dry cycle.

Going hard at the baseball player tee game. Gonna pick up a few or
hopefully most of them by 2011. Lofty goals.

Title: in passing.

Tour update:
I feel totally recharged. After being on tour since march with very
little breaks, I feel like I got a new battery pack on my energy.
Seeing friends in Chicago, tour friendship, a really good show, coffee
and 9hrs of sleep I feel great. Good riddace never sounded so good in
my ears. Traffic can't even hold me back.

Ok, got this shirt for 1 buck off eBay and it's a keeper. Classic
sports design, gold helmet, and blood stains make this shirt a must.
Driving thru Indiana going from Chicago to grand rapids means I have
to wear some sort of ND apparel. In a perfect world I would stop at
the bookstore and spend my money but that's for another day.

1. How important is/are camo pants?
Camo pants have become an important fixture in tui stagewear. As an
everyday garment, they're a great look as well.

2. What hard hardcore band(s) are you currently bumping on your daily
iPod listening?
I actually haven't even listened to my iPod oN this tour but if I did
it would probably be the usuals...madball, merauder, hatebreed. And
this band dying breed. And dead and dying. Stout. Bad seed.

3. Favorite new tui song?
Too true or believe maybe. I like them all

4. Worst food you've eaten on tour?
Probably the sausage mcgriddle I got yesterday morning. Griddles were
stale, sausage was rubbery. :(

5. Current favorite movie?
Taken haha

6. What's good?
Chillin up in the van on the way to Tempe, AZ. Looking forward to
hitting LA. This tour is good. Chipotle and coke Zero is good.

Title: in the van.

It's pretty cool to be on tour. There is something really unique about
it, and once your in the tour mode, it's all you think you can do.
Having barely any to no personal space can kind of suck but certain
sacrifices must be made to live this free. Sometimes I think I care
too much, and other aspects of my life take a backseat to my current
activities. One thing that helps me stay sane is following major
league baseball. It's refreshing to delve into something so... normal.

I know touring won't last forever I try to be a realist, but worrying
about tomorrow and not today isn't what this is really about. Moral of
this rant: have fun.

San Francisco just went 6-1 on a 7 game homestand. Best turnaround,

Title: what really counts.

This is a have heart hoodie. I got this over the last 6 months and I
really like the simple and collegiate style. Have heart is a straight
edge band from Boston who plays hardcore music. I've had the privledge
of living with, sharing a van and sharing my first tour with this
band. They are breaking up October 17th 2009. Ten year anniversary
from the ten yard fight edge day show. It's gonna be a zoo of a
weekend. I expect to have a really good time. I wish down to nothing
can/could get on some of these gigs.

I haven't gotten to see his band enough in the last 1.5 years and it
bums me out. But I always went and saw them at the small local shows
and that's what... Really counts.

Title: sex sells.

This is a trapped under ice European tour 2009 shirt. It's the first
piece to the puzzle. It's reminds me of a agnostic front shirt that
max from Richmond has. The newer tui member tees are all sold out but
hopefully more get made.

Giants traded for freddy sanchez, traded one of my favorite pitching
prospects tim alderson but hey I'll take it. Swept the pirates. And
cliff lee and the phillies come into town! Wow

Let's talk baseball:

- giants aquired Ryan Garko from the Indians for a prospect from the
2008 draft 8th round. I'll take that! Garko is a ND fighting Irish fan
and will contribute at the plate.

- eugenio velez and Jesus guzman were recalled to the bay due to being
on fire in the A system and brought good vibes last night. Nate
shierholtz 15 day disabled list due to going after a foul ball.

- Timmy Lincecum tossed a complete game and stopped the pirates at 2
runs, 4 hits? And 15k's. Leave some of that magic on the hill for Zito
plz... I back zito and wish him the best of luck tonight.

- the big unit will be out for another 3-4 weeks so let's hope
sadowski or another top prospect get the innings they need to mature.

Title: life at it's best. Via Seattle

Yesterday was one of those days where you really wish you lived in
Seattle. Strong show, really really good terror set. This isn't a
livejournal but you gotta give me this... Got to Seattle shot from
driving all night. Reasonable load in, good 'bucks run, mariners team
store, friends old and new. Fuck I needed more of these days in my
summer... Post gig went night swimming at a lake with a dock with 2
diving boards. INCREDIBLE feeling. I felt 11 again. Swimming in water
and just laughing for the sake of laughing was refreshing. I need to
spend a weekend in Seattle going to games and swimming till 2am. Maybe
even find a soul mate?
